United Way of Bedford County
United Way of Bedford County partners with the Area Agency on Aging to gather volunteers to travel across Bedford County to assist individuals needing some help with minor chores around their homes. Our volunteer teams are also available to assist local nonprofit agencies with projects at their facilities.
Please consider volunteering some of your time to others by lending a helping hand to those in Bedford County who need help. Teams of volunteers will spend time completing minor chores around the home of people who may have difficulty completing these tasks on their own. Volunteers will receive a “Day of Caring” t-shirt, and a light breakfast and lunch on the day of the event. Would you like to become a volunteer and help give back to your community? Contact United Way of Bedford County’s Executive Director, Katie Fink, at 814-624-0041 or [email protected] or complete a Team Form on our website.
United Way of Bedford County needs your help! Become a t-shirt sponsor for our Day of Caring program. T-shirt sponsorships are $100, and your logo/name will be placed on the back of each shirt, identifying you as a 2023 “Day of Caring” sponsor. Individuals, groups, or businesses wanting to be a t-shirt sponsor, please contact United Way of Bedford County’s Executive Director, Katie Fink, at 814-624-0041 or [email protected]. You can also find a T-Shirt Sponsor form on our website. We thank you for your support!
If you or someone you know is unable to tackle some of the small chores in or around your home, United Way of Bedford County would love to help! Our volunteers can help with things such as:
first floor window cleaning
yardwork
raking leaves
small paint jobs
flowerbed cleanup
other projects will be considered
Projects will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
If you are an individual or non-profit in need of help on the “Day of Caring”, please contact United Way of Bedford County’s Executive Director, Katie Fink, at 814-624-0041 or [email protected] or fill out an online Project Application.
